Kemlyn grew up on a farm in Eyota, MN. She trained every farm animal her parents had, including the chickens. She was a Vet tech for 17 years and the clinic’s behavioral consultant and obedience trainer. She has been grooming since she was pregnant with our now adult daughter. While pregnant, she asked Tommy to come up with something to help her aching back while she was grooming. That was the start of the Groomer’s Wall.
Tommy grew up in the country in southern Mississippi near the Gulf Coast and went into the Marine Corps right after high school. After the Corps, he attended college and migrated to Winona, Minnesota, where he met Kemlyn at the vet clinic where she worked. The rest is history and the beginning of All for Groomers.
The inspiration for our products…
Topaz, or Topi as her owner called her, was a retired miniature AKC show poodle. She suffered from a collapsing trachea that made her very sensitive to anything that put pressure on her throat. During and after grooming, she would go into coughing jags, requiring medication from the vet to help them stop. As she aged, she became unsteady and unable to balance herself properly on a grooming table. The Trach Saver® was developed to prevent pressure on her throat and to provide her stability on the table. The Groomer’s Wall® helped her in the balancing department as well. I groomed her for many years, and it was only through aging that these problems arose. She is, unfortunately, no longer with us. She passed away this past year (2021), but her mom knew about the product and was extremely happy we developed something to help her dog and future dogs that suffer from similar difficulties.
